How many things to do, to prepare, to organize: at the center of attention there she always is: the bride. From whom does she seek advice? Here are the 10 small pieces of advice that no one will ever give you but that can help!
- Gown choice: your entourage is up to you! Choose whomever you want: but don’t ever forget the objective: the wedding gown is YOURS! It must represent you and make you feel perfectly comfortable. Advice? Listen only to yourself.
- The garter: when you acquire the “good luck” garter, always keep in mind your gown’s dimensions and the thickness of the material: heavily laced garter or one with dark blue or voluminous appliques run the risk of being seen. Advice? Buy a simple garter and have a small blue ribbon sewn to the center.
- Shoes: when you buy shoes, remember that you will be on your feet a lot on your wedding day. Advice? The day before the wedding walk a little bit around your house with your wedding shoes on – walking on the soles will soften them and also consume them a bit do that they will be less slippery.
- The bouquet: remember that using seasonal flowers is always better. Advice? Play according to the seasons, for example, add bright red maple leaves or orange and yellow leaves to make a fall bouquet. The effect will be beautiful.
- Flowers in church: always be informed about how long the flowers you choose will last: if it’s too hot, for example, avoid using peonies and gardenias because they wilt quickly!
- Hairstyle and makeup: remember that first you do your hair and then the makeup. Don’t wear clothes that ruin both your hair and makeup. Advice? Wear a blouse or a robe.
- Makeup: you have to be perfect on your wedding day. All eyes will be on you and usually one chooses a makeup artist to be even more beautiful. Don’t overdo the makeup but stay with natural tones that flatter your skin tone, your face and your eyes.
- Gown delivery: the long anticipated moment has arrived: the gown has been delivered. Where do I put it? Advice: lay a white sheet under the furniture or the door where you’ll be hanging it, this way you’ll avoid immediately getting it dirty.
- The car: and now how do I get into the car? Get in holding the dress on one side and with your back facing the door, slide slowly towards the other side so that you avoid wrinkling the dress too much.
- Wedding gifts: there are many guests and the gifts are starting to arrive. How do I remember them all? Advice: as soon as a gift arrives, write the thank you card even if you’ll be sending it after the wedding. This way you’ll avoid a never ending tour de force and won’t forget anyone!
